A Woodland Creature Themed Baby Shower
Last weekend Kate and I traveled to my hometown of Kingwood, Texas (a suburb of Houston) to celebrate my cousin Liza and her future baby boy. I love love LOVE throwing a party, y’all… especially baby showers! It’s subtle, but if you look closely you’ll notice we went with a woodland creature theme. The dad is an avid hunter, so going that direction was perfect for this sweet baby boy. We didn’t go too over the top with the theme and instead incorporated just a few woodland elements for an elegant event. We used the invitation as our jumping off point for the color scheme + added in some silver antlers and used bark vases for the flower arrangements. I love how everything turned out. Our family can’t wait to add a little boy to the mix!
My fellow hostesses and I had so much fun showering the mom-to-be. We used some awesome Houston-based vendors, so I’ll link to them + link me and Kate’s dresses at the bottom of this post. But first - here’s some pretty pictures.
