My day job is a pretty conservative (but fast-paced) work environment. So, not only do I have to keep my 9 to 5 look simple and classy, I've also got to make sure it's comfortable. One brand that fits that description is Kate Spade, and as you may have gathered from the outfit description above - I'm a huge fan of hers! What I love about Kate Spade is that although most of her dresses are office appropriate, they're also fashion forward enough to transition to happy hour, date night, or even a fancier cocktail party. When you're buying a pricey piece, it needs to be versatile.
This olive green dress certainly works well for the office, and it can easily be dressed down with a scarf and some boots. I also love this rose print dress and this green peplum sheath. You can throw a blazer over both during work and either can be worn after hours as well. I picked up those heels at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and find myself wearing them at least once a week. The dress itself is pretty simple, so I dressed it up with a statement necklace. And there you have it - an easy 9 to 5 look!
