First Game Day of Football Season
Shirt: Anthropologie // Shorts: 7 for all Mankind // Belt: Gap // Flip Flops: Tory Burch // Necklace: Kate Spade // Bracelets: Kendra Scott, Alex and Ani // Purse: Louis Vuitton
It's finally football season! Without a doubt this seasonal transition from summer to fall is one of my favorite times of the year. And, yes, football is a big reason why it's my favorite. Austin doesn't have a professional football team, so we cheer for the Longhorns - which is convenient for me since I'm a proud alumni. For blocks around the football stadium, tailgaters set up their own little parties that last all day long - it's really something to see - so if you ever get a chance to visit during football season you should check it out.
For football games, I always try to be creative when styling my burnt orange and white. This is true for any school you attend - try to find pieces beyond your school book store's t-shirts. Have fun with it!
For the first game of the season (keeping in mind it was nearly 100 degrees out), I paired these 7 for all Mankind shorts with a simple burnt orange and white tee from Anthropologie (which is on sale!). I also threw on my Kendra Scott and Alex and Ani bracelets for a little more orange. Both of these bracelets come in multiple color options, so there should be an option that works for your school colors. I just got that Kate Spade initial necklace, and I am obsessed. I've worn it every day since I've bought it. Also, I found a similar Louis Vuitton purse to the one I'm wearing here that is pre-owned, so the price is a little more reasonable.
Happy Labor Day!
