Kate's First Year - A Video

I made a video! My first one! Hahaha… can you tell I’m a little proud of myself?

I watched this how-to video on YouTube last week and then got to work in iMovie. I’ve spent probably a couple hours each day for the past few days editing it down. Tough to do when you’ve got hundreds of videos of your kid on your phone. 😂 I started with over an hour of video footage and trimmed it down to a little over 3 minutes. Pretty good for a full year’s worth of content!

The song is “Planet” by my sister-in-law Daniella Mason. She wrote it with my brother, who plays guitar on the track. I think a song by Kate’s aunt and uncle is the perfect choice for her first year video!

I’ve already been told by my mother-in-law that I have to make one of these every year, so I guess that’s the new tradition. Enjoy! 😘
