Happy Friday, everyone! Hope you had an amazing week! Ours was pretty great.

On Monday, I started working out again with my trainer Robin. It feels so good to be sore! I think the last time I felt that sensation was before I got pregnant, so it’s been a minute. 💪🏻 Yesterday I hung out at my dad’s ranch in the hill country with baby Kate and my stepmom. It was so lovely! It was nice catching up, and I love going out there. So peaceful! 🌳

It was a productive week too as far as work and getting stuff done around the house. We’re finally getting our front and backyard all prepped for summer (we spend a lot of time in the front because we’ve got a great porch and live on a really quiet and private street which is 💯). We’ve officially got mulch out and the bushes/trees are all trimmed, so now I just need to replace the plants that didn’t survive winter and decide which annuals I want to plant this year. 🌼Fingers crossed I can get to that project this weekend. I keep saying I’m going to and it falls further down my list.

Here’s what I’m into this week:

  • SHOPBOP SALE: Here’s some items from the SHOPBOP Memorial Day Sale that caught my eye: this black romper (too pricey not on sale, but I think this is a much better price), this workout tank in black, this square neck bodysuit, these rainbow trimmed lounge pants, and these Schutz platform espadrilles.

  • TELEVISION: 🚨 ALERT! 🚨My fellow reality TV junkies will love this bit of news. Bravo just announced Bravocon. I’ll take 4 tickets please! 🙋🏻 One for me and 3 for various girlfriends of my choosing. 👯 Not sure that I’ll actually go, but it sounds like so much fun! Tickets go on sale this summer, and the event will be held in NYC November 15-17th. I’m very curious what the program will look like, but it isn’t being announced until tickets go on sale!

  • TRAVEL (Paris): Exciting news from my favorite city in the world! I was thrilled to read that Paris just announced plans for a MAJORLY UPGRADED park space surrounding the Eiffel Tower. The renderings look amazing! The city selected a British landscape architecture firm, and construction is expected to be completed in time for the 2024 Olympics. The last time David and I were in Paris, we commented to each other that the Champ de Mars could use a little refresh… it’s just not quite up to snuff to the other parks in Paris! With all the visitors, it gets beaten down. It’s also not very pedestrian friendly. But it sounds like they’ll be addressing that problem in this update too. Can’t wait to see this finished space one day!

  • TRAVEL (Italy): From my favorite city to my favorite country. Now that David and I have a little one, we’ve been talking about how it might be more convenient (and affordable) to go the house rental route when traveling vs. hotel stays. Thankfully, I stumbled across this article rounding up some great Airbnbs in various cities around Italy. I flagged the ones in Venice and Positano (this one is right next to my favorite hotel I’ve EVER stayed in) for future reference since we plan on visiting both of those cities again in the next few years.

  • HOME: If breezy, California vibes are you thing then you’ll love this home tour. We recently added cabinets in our upstairs den/playroom area, and the color we painted them looks identical to the kitchen cabinets in this home (and maybe it is, they don’t mention the paint color so I’m not sure!). So obviously, I’m a fan of the bolder paint selection.

Have a great weekend!
