Frozen 'Christmas' Mimosas
I've never had a bad mimosa, and chances are you haven't either. In fact, the classic mimosa is my idea of a perfect Saturday morning. But sometimes, especially during the holidays, it's nice to amp up a classic cocktail recipe. So today, I'm excited to share with all of you a family recipe that makes a traditional mimosa just a bit more festive (and special), making it the perfect cocktail to enjoy over the holiday season.
All you need are frozen strawberries, orange juice, champagne, a blender, and five minutes.
First, add a bag of frozen strawberries into a blender (I used my Vitamix).
Next, add your O.J.
Blend together the two ingredients.
Now, add the frozen strawberry and orange juice mixture into a champagne flute.
Next - time to pop the bubbly!
Slowly add the champagne into the flute.
And there you have it! Frozen 'Christmas' Mimosas.
Ingredients
- 2 cups orange juice
- 1 10 oz. package frozen strawberries
- 1 bottle champagne
Directions
- Combine orange juice and strawberries in a blender.
- Blend until pureed.
- Pour strawberry mixture into flute and add champagne.
- Stir as necessary.
Cheers!
P.S. I would love to celebrate with y'all, so be sure to share with me your own champagne experiences using the hashtag #poplizclink on social media.
