Classic Champagne Cocktail
Today I'm showing y'all how to make a Classic Champagne Cocktail. It's seriously so easy, but one of those easy recipes that will still impress your friends. Based on what I've read about this particular recipe, it's one of the oldest cocktails ever, with recipes dating back to the 1870's. It's simple, it's stood the test of time, and it's delicious. Here's how you make it.
All you need is a good bottle of champagne, sugar cubes, bitters, and a lemon.
First, place one sugar cube into your champagne coupe.
Next, sprinkle a couple drops of bitters onto each cube.
Now, pop the champagne!
Then, pour the champagne onto your sugar cube.
Next, take a veggie peeler and peel off a bit of lemon zest for garnish. It will also give you a great citrusy smell with every sip, which is just lovely.
And there you have it! A Classic Champagne Cocktail.
Also - aren't these champagne coupes adorable? I'm obsessed with them.
